"I am currently 24, and in my last full time semester at Eastern Michigan University. I plan to graduate in Fall semester of 2018 on Dec. 15th. I have a younger brother who is a legacy in chapter. I originally came to Eastern for the aviation program because my dream is to become a pilot one day. I had to change majors to Criminal justice because the flight portion of the aviation program is really expensive. Eventually, I plan to start flying again once I graduate. When I came to Eastern as a Transfer student in Winter of 2014, I had no friends and found school to be lonely. My sister was in a Greek organization and I always enjoyed hanging out with them, so I decided I would look into orgs on campus. I found Sigma Nu in the student center and they invited me to hangout with them and play card games. I laughed so much and had a great time. After spending some time with them, they offered me an invitation to come to their meeting. I felt the connection of brotherhood they had between each other and that's what I was looking for was some great friends/brothers that would be there for you no matter what. Since I had joined, Sigma Nu has helped me develop my leadership skills and help me develop into an adult more by preparing for life outside of school. I would recommend Sigma Nu to others because they are there for your best interest and want you to succeed in your endeavors. They will lend a hand when it is needed and be there for you even when it's not expected. They make you feel apart of an actual family. I enjoy this organization because we know how to have fun while at the same time know how to focus on school to succeed and graduate."
