My freshman year of college, I was certain that Greek Life wasn't for me. Roaming around campus my sophomore year, something hit me: I'm never going to have this opportunity again. Just a year ago, I had no intention of joining Greek Life, but then I thought, "why not give it a try?" When my time is done at Eastern Michigan, I'll have my own family, my work family, and a few friends from college or high school. I wanted more, I wanted brothers that will be there for me the rest of my life. Brothers from all across the country, brothers like Bob Barker, Harrison Ford, and Joe Buck. Brothers like Zach O'Brien, Lucas McCauley, and Mitch Hentschel to name a few. That's how I found Sigma Nu.
Through the ideals of Love, Honor, and Truth, I knew that Sigma Nu was for me. These are guys that I connected with and enjoyed getting to know. From there on, the relationships have flourished. I have met some of my best friends from Sigma Nu and I am fortunate enough to call these friends brothers. We have laughed together, shared memories together, and won championships and awards together. I wear my letters with pride, and never have second guessed my decision to join the greatest fraternity in this country.
